Ukrainian-Austrian partnership based on case management

In 2023, the implementation of the pilot project “New opportunities for socially vulnerable target groups in Ukraine” was completed. Its goal is to adapt and implement the best current practices in working with Ukrainian women from vulnerable social groups through the exchange of experience with Austrian specialists in the field of social services.

Duration of the project: 2021 – 2023.

According to the results of the project:

  • social workers from the Foundation’s team received training on the effective integration into the labor market of people from vulnerable groups based on the case management method,
  • translated and distributed a guide to help social workers, public organizations and other services that deal with the integration of people in difficult circumstances, “Kitchen Management” and “Mentoring and Facilitation”,
  • an educational trip of Ukrainian social service specialists took place to study the experience of Austrian colleagues with further implementation of successful practices in working with women,
  • at least 450 women from the communities of Lviv Oblast received counseling using the case management method,
  • developed a network of contacts in the communities where the Nut House Foundation works to create development opportunities through local events and fairs,
  • the products of a craftswoman from the Lviv region were purchased by Austrian partners as corporate gifts for the New Year.
